How are you going to achieve your vision?

Your mission is what you are currently doing in the present moment to achieve your vision. How are you creating the future vision you have for your brand? Think of your mission as being the present moment, and the vision as being the future. We need to now work on crafting a mission statement for your brand. Your mission statement should reflect your brand’s identity, encompass all that your brand is all about, and explain what you do.

Here are a few examples…

NARS Cosmetics - “To empower women to experiment and have fun with makeup by teaching them how to enhance their natural beauty and individual characteristics.”

Coty - “To create forward-thinking beauty through products that provide new, innovative, and simply better science-based solutions”

To help you complete your mission statement, answer these few questions…

Come up with a few different versions of your mission statement until you find one that is most suitable for your brand. This needs to be short and concise, just one or two sentences is plenty.

e.g. To create natural, sustainable skincare products using only natural, organic ingredients to help teenage girls feels more confident in themselves.
