<aside> 💪🏻 Thank you for downloading my guide on creating your brand's PURPOSE, VISION, MISSION and VALUES. This guide is designed to help you find your brand core. This is very important work, but often an area that brands skim over, or becomes an after thought. Your brand core is the foundational blocks of your brand and having these elements in place will set you up to be a very good position to expand, scale and grow your business!

When you decided to start a brand, there is always a reason WHY, beyond just making money. It could be that you wanted to create a product you couldn’t find elsewhere, it could be that you wanted to create a new life of freedom for yourself, it could be that you wanted to help the planet or the lives of others in a specific way, it could be that you saw the market wasn’t catering to a particular person.
Knowing these principles and being able to articulate them, is imperative to forming the starting point of your brand strategy. Customers want to connect to brands that mean something. They want to support genuine, authentic brands who do more than just sell them products.
In order to do this, there are four key elements that you need to clarify, to help you articulate exactly WHO you are, WHAT you do and WHY you exist. When your brand knows where you are going, why you are going there, how you are doing it and who you are doing it for…they are going to be in a much stronger position to succeed.
Building a strong brand, means a consistent emotional experience for your target customer. The more consistent and in alignment this messaging is, the more trust and familiarity you will build. In today’s competitive landscape, particularly in an emotive industry like the beauty industry, cultivating this connection is key to your brands survival.
So how do you cultivate this connection? It starts with knowing how you can represent your brand authentically and consistently. This starts with knowing exactly what you stand for, why you exist, where you are going and what you are trying to achieve.
<aside> 📌 I recommend working through each of these sections in this order. Go back to these exercises in 6 months, or a year and make this an ongoing process to continuously improve and ensure you are in alignment with your brand core. Good luck!
